About the role

What will I be doing?

As Manager of an EfW plant, you’ll play a critical role in its success. You’ll have overall responsibility for its operations, maintenance and workforce, as well as compliance with regulatory standards.

Revenue can be up to £20million, so it’s vital that you’re equipped to manage resources, motivate and direct teams, take decisions, measure performance and develop the business.

Under your leadership, our plant will operate efficiently and produce as much energy as possible.

What are the requirements?

To join us, you’ll need to have worked as a manager in a similar setting. You’ll have a track record of meeting financial targets and KPIs, plus experience of financial planning, budgeting and capital approval.

You’ll combine all this with a degree, HNC or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Process or Electrical Engineering.

Your knowledge will cover the latest legislation as well as the secret to building and developing teams.  With a Health & Safety qualification (ideally NEBOSH), you’ll have the determination and skills to run a successful EfW plant.
