What will I be doing?
You’ll make sure our Procurement systems and data run smoothly, so the team can make the right decisions. Day to day, you’ll:
- Be a go-to specialist for Procurement systems, supporting and training colleagues.
- Maintain accurate data and produce clear reports that highlight spend patterns.
- Support supplier catalogues, punchouts, and system connections.
- Help test and roll out new software or system upgrades.
- Work with the Procurement Data Analyst to improve processes and reporting.
- Act as the link between end users and system support, resolving issues quickly.
- Contribute to audits, KPIs, and system best practice.
This role will initially be office-based in Weston for the first 6 months (probationary period), after which it will move to a hybrid contract with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
What are the requirements?
To succeed, you’ll need a mix of IT, data, and communication skills. Specifically:
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, organising, reporting).
- Confidence learning and using multiple systems.
- Experience or interest in Procurement tools (Coupa, SAP) – training provided.
- Analytical mindset – able to spot trends and explain them clearly.
- Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise tasks.
- Helpful extras: Power BI/Cognos, customer support experience, or Waste industry knowledge.
