Are you working in a process / plant environment within the Power Generation, Chemical Process / Manufacturing, Waste Water Treatment, Biomass or similar industry?

We offer a salary of £35,785.98 (this can be negotiable) plus 20% Shift Allowance (£7,157), up to 10% Bonus (~£3,578), Company Pension (5% employer contributions).
That’s a total package of up to £46,520 at the time of joining, alongside support for your ongoing professional development. - About the role

What will I be doing?
- You’ll be working directly with critical elements of the plant, making sure everything runs safely and efficiently, in a way that complies with environmental legislation. It means continuously monitoring, controlling, assessing and adjusting plant processes, and applying your expertise to any problems that arise.
- You’ll have particular responsibility for the water tube boilers – sampling and analysing the water within them.
- You’ll also isolate plant systems if necessary to ensure the plant operates safely.
Shift Rota - 5x Day shifts - 7 Days off - 5x Night shifts - 8 days off (12 hour shifts).
What are the requirements?
- With a background in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, you’ll be familiar with aspects of an Energy Recovery site or similar process plant / facility and know how to use plant ancillary equipment.
- You’ll also be familiar with boilers, process control and measurement and have knowledge of relevant environmental legislation.
- SUEZ will invest in you from day one with a structured development program as, experience and certifications required for the role include; a BOAS Cert IBO, an IOSH Working Safely qualification along with good IT skills. If you don’t have all of the above don’t worry, as the extensive training programme will increase and develop your skills and expertise, providing you with the additional skills you need.
