Are you an experienced Team Leader or Supervisor?

Are you self motivated, with the initiative and drive to lead a team? Would you like to bring this experience to a company working for a greener UK?

No previous waste industry knowledge required as full training provided, however managing a team and good customer service required
Plenty of training opportunities including mobile plant, first aid, health and safety. (No previous experience required) 

About the Role

Location: Bideford Recycling centre, Devon

  • Salary £13.21 per hour
  • Working 16 hours per week in summer & 12 hours per week in winter
  • Shift pattern: Saturday and Sunday as the site only operates 2 days a week.
  • Start times: 09:45am & finish times are summer (April to September) 18:15pm, winter (October to March) 16:45pm
  • Opportunities for overtime on local sites to cover holidays and absence.
  • Full PPE provided
About the role

What you’ll do:

To proactively manage the site and all team members and ensure that it is operated in a fully compliant manner

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring site is compliant to relevant Legislation, Health & Safety, Permits, contracts and Policies and Procedures.
  • Leading a team of Site Operatives
  • Assisting members of the public and be responsible for the customer experience
  • Completing any other reasonable duties when applicable

What you’ll need to apply:

Essential:

  • Excellent customer service skills with the desire to go the extra mile.
  • Supervisory experience / skills and be able to lead a small team
