As an Apprentice Business Administrator at SUEZ, Recycling and Recovery UK, you’ll support the business in several areas, including customer services and mobilisation. You will also perform general administration duties.

Our Business Administration Apprenticeship roles are offering the candidate a great opportunity to learn and develop with SUEZ as a company.

About the role

  • You will be working in our Weston-super-Mare Office, 301 – 304 Parkway, Worle, North Somerset, BS22 6WA 
  • You will be working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with a 30 minute lunch.
  • You will be earning £24,087, up to 3% bonus plus SUEZ Benefits.
About the role

What will I be doing?

  • You will be supporting with the administration of our help desk function in line with compliance and internal policies and procedures.

  • You will be responsible for the supplier account administration, carrying out user acceptance testing on software updates and solving issues in a positive manner.

  • You will be asked to assist with the Procurement Support Desk Manager to provide techniques to aid better processes to the environment, ensuring continual relevance of instructions and guides.

What are the requirements/qualifications?

  • Ideally the job holder will have some previous administration experience and must be computer literate; able to use databases and Microsoft Office to at least an intermediate level
  • GCSE Maths and English Language at Grade C (4) or above.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • They will be required to complete tasks to deadlines in a busy environment and have excellent organisational skills. 
  • Some experience of problem solving and dealing with internal and external customers helpfully and courteously would also be advantageous.
  • Work well as part of a team but can also work on their own using their own initiative
