The role:

£37,135 base salary with additional benefits including up to 10% annual bonus, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays and 5% employer pension. 

37.5 hours per week Mon - Friday, based in Maidenhead 3x per week with 2 days working from home. 

 

About the role

What will I be doing?

Feed in where applicable to the planning, design, development, of new applications and enhancements to existing applications.
Liaise with Business Systems Manager, Technology Business Partner and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, identify and assist in resolving business systems issues.
Support the wider technology team in simplification and reuse of the current systems, highlighting opportunities for business improvement
Assist in the deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications and systems.
Conduct research on hardware and software products to help justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts. Conduct research into software application products and services in support of development, maximizing use and advancement in technology.
Provide support for the testing of new and existing software applications under development or consideration for purchase.

What are the requirements?

Higher education or degree in Computer Science (or other relevant subject) or equivalent professional experience
Experience of industry standard IT processes (ITITL, Prince, SSADM, DSDM) (advantageous)
System / Application support experience in industry (advantageous)
