About the Role
Location: TLS & HWRC, Thornhill, Off Weaving Ln, Thornhill Rd, Dewsbury WF12 9QR
Salary
- £34,707.26 per annum plus a monthly bonus of £217.26 which totals to £46,004.78 per annum
Hours & Pay:
- 45 hours per week basic
- Additional 3 contractual hours/week paid at 1.5x rate which will be 48 hours per week in total
- Plus a Monthly bonus: £217.26 which will be £11,297.52 per annum on top of your salary
Shift Pattern:
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work required (based on business needs)
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00, depending on duties

What will I be doing?
The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.
What are the requirements?
You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.
The role also requires:
- An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
- Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
- Experience of working with recycling vehicles, roll on roll off containers, is preferred but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
