About the role

What will I be doing?
As Reuse Shop Supervisor, you'll lead daily operations with energy and focus on sustainability:

  • Lead and motivate a diverse team of operatives and/or volunteers to deliver excellent performance and a positive, inclusive workplace.

  • Manage the collection, repair, cleaning, testing, and resale of items — including online listings, advert creation, photography, and stock management — to maximise reuse and sales.

  • Drive sales growth, meet financial and operational targets through P&L analysis, and display products appealingly to boost customer interest.

  • Ensure full compliance with health & safety, trading standards, quality protocols, and all relevant reuse regulations, keeping items safe and fit for sale.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and support the development of reuse business plans to grow operations regionally.

Some weekend working will be required.

What are the Requirements?
We're open to candidates from all backgrounds and value transferable skills and enthusiasm for sustainability:

  • Experience or strong knowledge of retail, online selling, and customer service.

  • Proven ability in accurate stock control and inventory management.

  • Familiarity with health & safety and trading standards in a sales or workplace environment.

  • Confident PC skills for creating appealing, accurate product descriptions and adverts.

  • Leadership qualities to guide and inspire a small team.

Who we are

At SUEZ, respect is at the heart of everything we do — for each other, for our customers, and for the communities we serve. We foster inclusive, caring environments where diversity, wellbeing, safety, and solidarity are more than values — they’re everyday realities. These principles shape how we work together, every day. We’re committed to building a workplace where everyone feels valued and included. If you’re excited about this opportunity but don’t meet every single requirement, we encourage you to apply. Your unique experience, perspective, and potential could be exactly what we’re looking for. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your wellbeing and growth — including competitive pay, pension plans, health and wellbeing programs, learning opportunities, and career development. Everything you need to thrive, both professionally and personally. Join us in transforming today’s environmental challenges into tomorrow’s innovative water and waste solutions.

At SUEZ, your work truly matters — driving action and shaping a more resilient, sustainable future.
