Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support across multiple functions, keeping everything running smoothly and sustainably.
- Analyse data, create reports, and suggest practical improvements to boost efficiency.
- Work closely with colleagues to resolve queries and maintain excellent service standards.
- Get involved in projects that drive operational excellence and positive environmental impact.
Job Specific :
- Monitor refuse and recycling crews and carrying out inspections accordingly
- Monitor fleet compliance and ensuring that Health and Safety is always kept to a high standard
- You will also be tasked with various day to day roles – managing drivers and loaders, timesheets, ensuring that staffing levels are kept within budget, staff are briefed on their roles and responsibilities
What We're Looking For
- A degree in any subject (achieved within the last 5 years) or equivalent experience – we value diverse pathways into the role.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills to handle varied challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for building relationships in a collaborative, inclusive environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and enthusiasm for learning new systems.
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to the company car and role requirements).
- Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship (we're unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position).
- Must be willing to relocate to the Southend region - should you not already be located there.
