What will I be doing?
As the first point of contact for customers across your region, you’ll play a key role in delivering a positive and seamless experience. Whether it’s supporting long‑standing clients or responding to new enquiries, you’ll help ensure every customer receives clear, timely and helpful information.
This entry‑level role is ideal for people looking to start or develop their career in customer service, operations or account management. You’ll gain hands‑on experience, contribute to meaningful improvement work, and help strengthen long‑term client relationships.
Your role will include:- Acting as the first point of call for both internal and external customer enquiries.
- Setting up and creating customer contracts with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Managing day‑to‑day queries, ensuring customers receive prompt support.
- Recording and maintaining data on potential customer‑at‑risk churn, identifying emerging trends and supporting proactive solutions.
- Supporting the retentions team by promoting services during upselling campaigns and helping manage the branch priority list, offering recommendations where needed.
Throughout your work, you’ll collaborate with colleagues, contribute to continuous improvement, and help us deliver a high‑quality, customer‑centred service.
What are the requirements?
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, career stages and life experiences. Whether you’re a recent graduate, returning to work, or seeking a new challenge, what matters most is your enthusiasm for learning, commitment to great service and ability to work well with others.
You’ll be a great fit if you bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and friendly approach.
- Confidence managing your workload and meeting deadlines.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Experience handling high‑volume or varied tasks, staying organised under pressure.
- Familiarity with bespoke systems or databases (beneficial but not essential — full training provided).

Over seven years ago, I began my journey at SUEZ as an apprentice eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact. That experience not only shaped my career but also gave me a deep understanding of the value apprenticeships bring to both individuals and organisations. Today, I’m proud to lead apprenticeship recruitment at SUEZ, driving initiatives that attract and support new talent across both internal and external programmes. My role allows me to champion the same opportunities that launched my own career, helping others unlock their potential and build sustainable futures. With a passion for professional development and a strong belief in the power of hands-on learning, I’m committed to delivering apprenticeships as a key part of our workforce strategy ensuring we continue to grow, innovate, and lead within our industry. I’m committed to supporting candidates throughout every stage of the hiring process, ensuring they feel informed, valued, and empowered to present their best selves.
