About the Role
Location:TLS & HWRC, Thornhill, Off Weaving Ln, Thornhill Rd, Dewsbury WF12 9QRSalary & Bonus
£34,707.26 per annum
Plus monthly bonus of £217.26 (£2,568.00 per annum)
Total annual earnings: £37,314.00Hours & Pay
- 45 basic hours per week
- Additional 3 contractual hours paid at 1.5x (total 48 hours per week)
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Occasional weekend work based on business needs
- Start times between 04:00 and 06:00, depending on duties

What you’ll be doing
As an LGV Driver (Class 2), you’ll be responsible for the safe driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers. You’ll deliver a consistently high standard of service while following all Health & Safety procedures — both our own and those of our customers. Your work will directly support responsible waste management and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Driving and operating Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Collecting commercial waste and recycling from customer sites.
- Providing friendly, reliable and professional customer service.
- Following all Health & Safety and compliance requirements.
- Working collaboratively as part of a supportive, hard‑working team.What we’re looking for

- A valid LGV Class 2 licence.
- A valid CPC card.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in the waste or recycling industry.
