What will I be doing?
As a key member of our Business Support team at our Cornwall energy from waste facility, you’ll help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our general, contract and management systems administration. This is an excellent entry‑level opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career—whether you’re a recent graduate, returning to work, or seeking a new challenge in a purpose‑driven environment.
You’ll play an important role in promoting positive working practices and strong employee relationships, supporting both your immediate team and colleagues across the wider business. Every day, you’ll help us deliver on our values, championing a professional, safety‑focused and inclusive workplace.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing day‑to‑day administrative support for business operations, ensuring consistent processes and high‑quality service.
- Supporting our COUPA procurement system, including order processing, invoicing and payment workflows.
- Assisting with invoice queries and helping resolve issues efficiently.
- Completing accurate data entry, document preparation (letters, minutes, reports) and supporting senior management with business documentation.
This role offers meaningful responsibility from day one, along with opportunities to develop your skills, gain exposure to business operations, and contribute to a workplace committed to sustainability, continuous improvement and employee wellbeing.
What are the requirements?
We’re looking for someone who brings enthusiasm, attention to detail and a collaborative approach. You might have gained experience through previous work, education, voluntary roles or other life experiences. What matters most is your willingness to learn and contribute.
You’ll bring:
- Strong administration skills and the ability to manage tasks with accuracy.
- Good IT proficiency, including confidence using the Microsoft Office suite, and sound numeracy for handling figures.
- Clear, positive communication and the ability to build supportive relationships.
- A team‑focused approach and a responsible attitude to work.
- A commitment to promoting safe, inclusive and respectful working practices.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities and career stages. If you’re passionate about contributing to a team with purpose—and you share our values—you could play a big part in our organisation.
If you require reasonable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process or once in role, we encourage you to let us know. We’re committed to ensuring an accessible and supportive experience for every candidate.

Over seven years ago, I began my journey at SUEZ as an apprentice eager to learn, grow, and make a meaningful impact. That experience not only shaped my career but also gave me a deep understanding of the value apprenticeships bring to both individuals and organisations. Today, I’m proud to lead apprenticeship recruitment at SUEZ, driving initiatives that attract and support new talent across both internal and external programmes. My role allows me to champion the same opportunities that launched my own career, helping others unlock their potential and build sustainable futures. With a passion for professional development and a strong belief in the power of hands-on learning, I’m committed to delivering apprenticeships as a key part of our workforce strategy ensuring we continue to grow, innovate, and lead within our industry. I’m committed to supporting candidates throughout every stage of the hiring process, ensuring they feel informed, valued, and empowered to present their best selves.
