About the role

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the production of accurate monthly management accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone at the start of their finance career, including those on a graduate scheme, studying AAT, or looking for an entry‑level pathway into management accounting.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Management Accounts team and work with teams across our operations sector. This role offers meaningful responsibility from day one, with clear opportunities to develop your technical skills, build confidence, and contribute to our long‑term sustainability and financial performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing financial information for the operations sector and wider business.
  • Supporting balance sheet reconciliations and assisting with month‑end management accounts.
  • Producing and sharing reports, including key performance indicator (KPI) data.
  • Creating and processing journals accurately and on time.
  • Providing general support to the Management Accounts team and completing ad‑hoc tasks when required.
  • Opportunities to visit sites as part of your routine responsibilities.

You’ll be part of a supportive, inclusive environment where learning is encouraged, and where people of all backgrounds, ages, and experiences are welcomed. We are committed to equitable opportunities and encourage applications from underrepresented groups. If you need any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process or once in role, please let us know — we’re happy to help.

What are the requirements?

We are looking for someone who is motivated, curious about finance, and eager to grow. This role suits a wide range of candidates, including recent graduates, career changers, early‑career professionals, and those progressing through their AAT qualifications.
To succeed, you’ll bring:

  • Strong financial awareness and a good level of business acumen.
  • Confidence using digital tools and systems; solid Excel skills are essential.
  • Working towards (or already holding) an AAT qualification or equivalent.
  • Education to A‑Level standard or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a finance environment would be beneficial, though not essential, we value potential and willingness to learn.

If you're looking for a role where you can develop your accounting skills, contribute to a purpose‑driven organisation, and be part of a collaborative team that values diverse perspectives, we’d love to hear from you.
