We are looking for a General Maintenance Operative in Pool - Redruth

About the Role
- This position is offered on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract and is Full Time working between 40 and 47.5 hours per week.
- £14.67 per hour
- Based at Pool / Redruth

Typical tasks include, but not limited to:
- Mobile Plant works – Replacing blades, wipers, etc
- Dealing with all PMF issues
- Site facilities works – Drilling, signage/netting, plumbing, brickwork, doors/handles, locks, barriers
- Stores / stock audits
- General DIY
- Ad hoc works
Your experience and background:
- Mechanical Knowledge/Experience
- General DIY – Building works, Plumbing, woodwork, etc
- Good with Hand tools & power tools – drills, grinders, jigsaw
- Safety Conscious as sole worker on tasks
- Some formal Qualifications would be ideal – NVQ in Mechanical works/fitting/Joinery
- Welding would be beneficial, but not essential
- Self motivated
