SUEZ is growing its operations in Avonmouth — and as our site continues to scale up, we’re looking for skilled Mobile Plant Operators who want to be part of something bigger.This is your chance to join a forward‑thinking team where your work genuinely matters. You’ll play a key role in keeping our busy site running smoothly, safely, and efficiently, using a range of plant equipment including shovels, FLTs and tele‑handlers.
Location: Avonmouth, Bristol
Salary: £35,161.10 per annum
Working days: Monday - Friday
Shift Pattern: You will work on a weekly rotational basis 06:00 - 14:00 (day shift) and 13:00 - 00:00 (night shift)
What you’ll be doing
- Loading a variety of vehicles including bulk haulage walking floors, shipping containers and curtain‑siders.
- Ensuring all waste deliveries meet site licence requirements and completing associated paperwork.
- Directing customer vehicles to the correct disposal areas and assisting with off‑loading.
- Operating the baler as part of a multi‑skilled role — full training provided.

What you’ll need to apply:
Essential:
- A safety conscious approach with the desire to develop & embrace change to promote continuous improvement.
- Mobile plant experience – loading shovel, 360 excavators.
- Desirable:
- Forklift licence.
