In return, we offer a salary of £42,708 plus Company Car or Car Allowance, up to 10% Bonus, Company Pension, and benefits catalogue.
At SUEZ, we act for what truly matters — for the environment, for society, and for the future. This is the place for people who want to make a real impact, not just watch from the sidelines. Join us and help drive positive change through innovative solutions that build a more resilient and sustainable world.
- About the role

What you'll be doing
You'll play a key role in delivering efficient, safe, and compliant composting operations while growing the business:
- Oversee subcontractor operations across two open windrow composting sites, ensuring safe, compliant delivery in line with contracts, environmental permits, and SUEZ standards.
- Manage full PAS100 compliance, including record-keeping, sampling, certification maintenance for both sites, and sampling support for two additional regional facilities.
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing compost customers (including agricultural outlets), identify new markets, and coordinate production and sales to maximise output and meet demand.
- Manage leachate, waste, and weighbridge operations, while ensuring site infrastructure remains safe, efficient, and fit for purpose.
- Support continual improvement, health & safety, and environmental performance across the sites.
What we're looking for
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and value passion for sustainable resource management:
- Solid knowledge of PAS100 and composting operations, with understanding of mobile and fixed plant.
- Experience building and maintaining strong customer or stakeholder relationships.
- Understanding or previous experience in agriculture (highly advantageous but not essential).
- COTC (Certificate of Technical Competence) in Treatment or Composting (or willingness and ability to obtain within 12 months).
- IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH (desirable but not essential — full training support provided).
We particularly encourage applications from underrepresented groups in waste management, agriculture, and sustainability sectors. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the application or interview process, please let us know — we're committed to being an inclusive employer.
