About the role
As a Business Development Manager at SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, you will be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that is helping customers reduce their impact on the environment.

What will I be doing?
We have some great services to offer, and we want you to introduce them to new clients in your area. That means spotting development opportunities and making sure SUEZ, recycling and recovery UK, is invited to bid for strategically important regional contracts.
- You we will be a self-motivated outbound sales person, building an opportunity pipeline from engagement activities across the region, promoting the benefits of the SUEZ proposition and developing regional key account prospects to offer our services.
- You will develop tailored responses, delivering client presentations that will result in new additions to our regional portfolio.
- When a new customer agrees to join us, you will be the central point in negotiating and configuring a contract solution. You will then ensure the new contract is implemented smoothly, so that the customer has a totally positive experience.
- In short, you will be in charge of refining our regional sales proposition, building our profile within the market place and developing a market position for our brand.
What are the requirements?
- You will have a track record of winning and developing new large customers (annualised value of c75K - £1M) therefore you will be financially aware and commercially astute.
- You will have worked in a senior sales role before and know how to deliver high service levels, create a great customer experience and manage expectations whilst maximising profits.
- You will have experience presenting solutions-based propositions to key targets, producing and delivering compelling proposals and responses to requirements including bid/tender structured responses such as ITT and RFP.
- You will preferably have sound knowledge of the UK waste and resource management industry knowledge is desirable, but it is not essential, as industry training can be given.
- Strong demonstrable sales experience and previous success is a must have.
