About The Role
Location: Swale Municipal, Gas Road, Sittignbourne, ME10 2QB
- Salary: £13.42 per hour
- Working: 40 hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 14:30 pm
- Full PPE provided

- You’ll be walking approximately 6–10 miles per day
As a Loader at SUEZ Recycling and Recovery UK, you’ll play an essential role in supporting environmentally responsible waste and recycling services. This entry‑level position is ideal for people who enjoy working outdoors, being active and contributing to a greener, more sustainable UK.

What will I be doing?
You will support the safe and efficient collection of household recycling and waste, ensuring excellent service for local residents. This includes:
- Loading collection vehicles and handling recycling and waste materials safely
- Working collaboratively with your crew to complete daily routes
- Providing a friendly, professional service to the public
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Ensuring compliance with contractual and environmental standards

- Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances as part of the role
- Reliable, safety‑conscious and a strong team player
- Good communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service
- Experience in the waste or recycling sector is helpful but not essential
- Training will be provided, including working safely with waste collection vehicles
