About the Role
- Location: Lee Mill Industrial Estate, Ivybridge, Plymouth, PL21 9GS
- Salary: £38,679.21 per annum (£15.61 per hour)
- Hours: 47.5 hours per week
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, Bank Holiday working is required
- Start Time: 04:00 – 14:15
Overtime available and paid at enhanced rates:
- Monday to Saturday: 1.5x hourly rate
- Bank Holidays: 3x hourly rate OR 2x hourly rate plus a day in lieu

What will I be doing?
The role will involve the driving and operation of vehicles collecting Industrial and Commercial waste and recycling from our customers, delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.
What are the requirements?
You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.
The role also requires:
- An HGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
- Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
- Experience of working with Rear Compaction Vehicles is preferred but not essential as training will be provided
