What will I be doing?
The role of the Assistant Bid Manager is to support the bid manager in the development and submission of a winning bid.
This means supporting a range of different activities, including but not limited to:
- General bid management activities including assisting with developing and overseeing the key project control documents
- Assisting with the development of the project strategy, golden threads and win themes
- Analysing and responding to the written aspects of the proposal to maximise the evaluation score
- Gathering appropriate information from the business or from third parties to support the bid
- Assistance with the production of approval documents as required
- Management of the tender portal and the clarification process
- Supporting negotiation meetings if required
- From time to time, leading smaller public sector tenders
What are the requirements?
- Graduate level, or equivalent with at least one year's work experience.
- Experience of working in a private sector bidding environment is desirable but not essential.
- Writing experience in an educational or business environment.
