Administration Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Administration Manager to oversee and manage a wide range of administrative, financial, operational, and compliance activities. This is a key role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the business, working closely with operational teams, finance, and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £34,984 - £43,730

Benefits: up to 10% annual bonus, 3x Life assurance policy, 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays, sick pay, 5% employer pension 

Hours: Mon-Fri 9-5 or 8-4, 37.5 hours per week (part time options can be considered, please detail your working hours on your application) 

Location: Energy from Waste Plant Isle of Man (office based 5 x per week) 

 

 

About the role

What will I be doing?

The successful candidate will manage data, maintain records, and support key business processes including invoicing, purchasing, and health & safety coordination. They will also act as a central point of contact, supporting stakeholders and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. You will be a line manager to a team of 2 administrators. 

  • Produce reports, maintain databases, and manage operational records
  • Support financial administration including invoicing, payments, and sales ledger management
  • Assist with operational processes such as scheduling, purchasing, and compliance documentation
  • Coordinate health & safety activities, training records, and compliance requirements
  • Provide general office support including travel, supplies, meetings, and inductions
  • Act as a key liaison for internal teams, customers, and suppliers

What are the requirements?

SUEZ are seeking a highly organised and proactive administrator with strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and experience managing data, reports, and office processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven administrative or office support experience with strong organisational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • High attention to detail with experience managing spreadsheets, databases, and reports
  • Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise workloads effectively
  • Knowledge or experience in finance, compliance, or operational processes (desirable)
  • Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented with a professional and problem-solving mindset
