About The Role

  • Location: Hexham Transfer Station (TS) Northumberland, NE46 4DL
  • £14 per hour.
  • £35,300 per annum and Monthly Bonus of £180 payable when KPI’s are achieved.
  • Potential OTE of £37.500
  • Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
  • Start times:  07.30 – 17.00
  • Working 48.5 hours a week including paid lunch break onsite.
  • Full PPE provided
About the role

What will I be doing?
 
You will administrate and operate the site's Weighbridge system, administrating and controlling all entries into/out of the site, maintaining the site diary and ensuring an organised office at all times. In addition to recording all movements in and out of Hexham you will record all movements from the stand alone HWRC’s onto our weighbridge system within the specified timescales.
 
Key duties: 

  • Assist with general administrative duties, such as; answering phones and directing calls.
  • Record tonnages moved from Hatches and record daily stocks
  • Chase loads information moved to 3rd party sites 
  • Complete end-of-month procedures
  • Carry out inductions for visitors to the site.
  • Ensure all people going onto the site have the appropriate protective equipment.
  • Complete appropriate documentation, in accordance with legal guidelines.
  • Ensure that all SUEZ Health and Safety policies are followed, at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with the team 
  • Deliver outstanding front-line customer service
  •  Full training will be given on all systems

What are the requirements?

You will need to be self-motivated, have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team, as well as:
A flexible approach to work - you will be expected to cover for holidays and sick days if required. 
The ability and willingness to undertake other roles on site, with the required training and development being provided.
There is an opportunity to learn machine driving skills as part or your development in waste and recycling management.
