About The Role

  • Location: Merebank Rd, Avonmouth, Bristol, BS11 8AQ
  • Salary £43,000 per annum
  • Working 47.5 hrs per week (overtime available) + night out allowance
  • Shift Pattern Monday - Friday
  • Hours are to be confirmed, but dependent on business needs
  • Full PPE provided

What will I be doing?
The role will involve walking floor work, deliver a high standard of service and ensure compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

  • Transporting recyclable materials to/from our Avonmouth MRF to Tilbury/Mitcham
  • This role involves working away from home during the week.
  • Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
  • Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by his/her actions or omissions.
  • Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
  • Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic team player who will be expected to join the current site team to ensure operations exceed the standards required.

 
What you will need is:

  • Full UK driving licence with LGV C+E (Class 1)
  • Minimum 1yr C+E experience
  • Valid DCPC & digital tachograph
  • Experience in bulk haulage preferred 
  • A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
  • A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
