About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Ensuring the smooth operation of the shop, and the ReActon Standard Operating procedures and Policies are adhered to
  • Training and supervising shop assistants and other staff
  • Overall management and reporting for the re-use shop, e-sales, events and workshops
  • Ensure effective security of cash, stock and premises
  • Promote the re-use hub and re-use shop via social media, managing the team to ensure socials are kept up to date
  • Promote consistent shop display, communications and pricing Develop protocols for selling ‘extra’ valuable items through other platforms e.g. auction
  • Line management responsibilities for E-Sales Supervisor and Retail Assistants.
  • Coordinate and monitor the receipt, repair and dispatch of goods according to the Standard Operating Protocols
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
  • Produce regular reports and statics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse management systems and automated storage and retrieval systems, including training staff on how to use. 
  • Ensure goods are cleaned, repaired and tested according to the Quality Standard Operating Protocol
  • Analyse key performance indicators to anticipate future product needs
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service and retail standards

  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant guidance and regulations for re-use, ensuring that all items offered for sale are fit for purpose. 
  • Achieve sales targets for the re-use hub, shops, events and online sales
  • Maintain excellent levels of customer service and retail standards
  • Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate

What are the requirements?

  • Excellent levels of customer service
  • Formidable communication skills - both written and orally
  • Experience of retail selling, pricing and display
  • Supervisory experience
