As an Operations Administrator at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources by recycling and producing fuel to reduce our reliance on fossil fuels.

About the role

What will I be doing as an Operations Administrator at Altens East?

SUEZ have a number of Processing facilities dedicated to recycling within Aberdeen and the Operations Administrator will play a key role in supporting Managers and Supervisor within the business by using your organisation skills to tackle the varied tasks.  Alongside more traditional administrative tasks, you will be able to develop your existing skills with other duties such as:

  • Implement standardize systems of work to ensure efficient administration activities.
  • Using database data to create coherent reports for operational purposes.
  • Raising Purchase Orders for everything from stationary to fixed plant spare parts.
  • Support of resolving invoice and telephone queries.
  • Generating reports which provide performance of the recycling processes, and assisting Supervisors by ensuring accurate data is issued at all times.
  • Identifying duplication in administrative processes and always pushing to streamline procedures.

What are the requirements? (experience and qualifications)

  • A strong candidate will have plenty of administrative experience and be IT proficient from a wide range of industrial or business sections. 
  • Will promote a safety conscious attitude towards work. 
  • You’ll back this up with a good standard of education and a qualification in Business Administration would be beneficial.
  • You’ll be expected to be able to strong numerical and literacy skills since you’ll need to be good with people and work within a large team.
  • The successful candidate will have the ability to solve administrative problems and love the feeling of taking responsibility for, and then meeting a challenge head on by using their experience and bringing new ideas to the role.
