Are you an experienced LGV Driver, with a current Class 2 licence and valid CPC & tacho card? 

About the Role

Location: Mitcham, CR4 3BQ

  • Annual base Salary: £39,935.43 / £17.01 per hour + £500 retention bonus (paid after successful 6-month probation)
  • Starting times: 4.00am - 2.00pm
  • Working Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning (4am till 10am on the Saturday)
  • 45 hours per week
  • Overtime and weekend work available if required
  • Full training given
  • 4 out of 8 Bank Holidays needs to be worked double time and a day in lieu will be paid.

Applicants must be able to drive and operate at least one of the following vehicles:

  • RoRo (Roll-On Roll-Off)
  • FEL (Front End Loader)
  • Skip Lorry
About the role

What will I be doing?

The role will involve the driving and operation of roll on roll off vehicles, collecting industrial and commercial waste from our customers and delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service. This role will include lone working and a responsibility to load.

  • Valid HGV licence, CPC card and tachograph card.
  • Previous experience operating one or more vehicle types - RoRO, FEL or Skip
  • Good understanding of health and safety procedures
  • Reliable and professional attitude
