EFW Maintenance Technician - Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) 

SUEZ are looking for an E&I Maintenance Technician to support our Energy from Waste Plant in the Isle of Man. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team where you'll work on a wide range of electrical, control and instrumentation systems, with ongoing training available to develop your skills in specialist plant technologies.

About the role

Salary: £34,984 -£38,636

Benefits: up to 10% annual bonus, 3x life assurance policy, 25 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays), 5% employer pension, sick pay and additional benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri

Location: SUEZ Energy from Waste Facility - Richmond Hill - Braddan - Isle of Man – IM4 1JH

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across all electrical and instrumentation systems to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
  • Ensure all plant installations, upgrades and modifications comply with current wiring regulations, standards and statutory requirements.
  • Provide technical support, guidance and supervision to junior team members and contractors, while working collaboratively across site functions.

What are the requirements?

  • Completed relevant engineering apprenticeship and qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
  • The ability to use Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledge of wiring regulations BS7671 (18th edition)
  • Suitable health and safety qualification/experience (Training can be provided)
