About the Role

  • £57,059 basic salary + Car / Car Allowance + up to 20% Bonus + Benefits
  • Based around the Maidenhead area.
About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Own and lead the end-to-end proposal process for strategic corporate bids from qualification and development through to submission, negotiation, financial approval and mobilisation handover.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team comprising four Bid Managers and one Assistant Bid Manager.
  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve bid management processes, governance frameworks and review gateways.
  • Own and continuously enhance the national bid library, ensuring content remains current, accurate, relevant and aligned to brand standards.
  • Provide regular updates on bid pipeline activity, strategic opportunities and performance trends to the Head of Corporate Sales and senior leadership team.

What are the requirements?

  • Experience managing complex B2B corporate bids and tender processes.
  • Strong understanding of UK procurement methodologies and commercial contracting practices.
  • Knowledge of waste management, recycling, resource recovery and environmental services markets and understanding of operational service delivery models and mobilisation processes
  • Resilient and calm under pressure, proactive and motivated with a strong desire to win.
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism and sound judgement, visible leadership and accountability.
