The position is based at SUEZ UK headquarter in Maidenhead but frequent travelling within the UK is required.

What will I be doing?

Under the responsibility of the General Manager Remediation UK[IP1] , the main responsibilities of this challenging position are to:

Trade soils, actively identify (new) clients, look for solutions in polluted soils treatment and in- and ex-situ remediation projects.

Build a winning proposal including technical, financial, fiscal and contractual aspects.

Maintain a close customer relationship during the tendering processes and the execution of projects in close collaboration with environmental consulting companies.

Participate to administrative tasks related to remediation activities, maintain a relationship with the EA and the permitting department of SUEZ UK.

Participate to the development of the company and ensure the necessary resources (people, equipment, …) in order to execute projects and this in close collaboration with the international technical teams.

What are the requirements?

You have a Master Degree in Engineering and at least 10 years of experience in sales, business development, trading or project management in polluted soils within the UK market.

You have a proven knowledge and experience in soil movements (CL:AIRE re-use procedures, declassification processes, etc.)

You are very strong in managing complex projects

You have strongly developed negotiation and relationship building skills

You are effective in a hands-on organization

You like challenges, are results-oriented and pragmatic

You have a dynamic and enthusiastic personality

You are a team player, including information sharing and reporting

You promote the highest safety standards
