This position is a permanent position.

The working hours are 9 hrs / day Monday – Friday 45 hours starting at 11.30am with occasional weekend / Bank Holiday working.

The pay rate for this role is £12.03 per hour.


What will I be doing as a Cat C RCV Driver?

Our site at Avonmouth operates Cat C LGV vehicles including RoRo, Skip, Front End Loaders (FEL’s) and RCV (Euro) trade waste vehicle. You may also occasionally be required to work at other locations within the region, for which a travelling allowance is payable.

 

The role will involve the driving and operation of RCV reer steer vehicles collecting commercial waste from our customers on a PM route, Monday – Friday delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times. Occasional Saturday and Sunday PM working will also be required on a rota.

 

What are the requirements? (experience and qualifications)

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team delivering a high level of customer service.

An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.

Experience of working within the waste industry and driving trade waste RCV’s is desirable but not essential as training will be given where necessary.
