About the role

What will I be doing?

You will support the Maintenance Planner through the day to day usage and administration of the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS), ensuring all data and information is correctly stored and archived.

This will enable you to assist with the planning of all maintenance activity, including preventative and reactive scheduling, as well as for plant shutdowns. This will also require the following activity:

  • Compiling KPI procurement and maintenance reports for the planner to assess individual facilities performance for improvements.
  • Issue plans and schedules to allow monitoring of operational planned activities in line with the maintenance plan.
  • Assist in preparation of BOM’s (bill of materials) for routine and shutdown maintenance activities.
  • Maintaining the CMMS, plant electronic filing and paper documentation systems.

What are the requirements?

  • Any qualification, training or background in maintenance engineering would be highly beneficial, as would an understanding of maintenance or inventory / stock control systems, but this is experience and knowledge you can gain.
  • What is essential is that you are organise, methodical with good attention to detail. Strong IT skills will also be required and fs you have worked with a project planning software (MS Project), we will train you in the use of our CMMS, Mainsaver.
