About the role

What will I be doing?

  • You will hold responsibility for setting the strategic direction of the contracts’ development, including the creation of new service opportunities and the commercial integration with other SUEZ assets in the region (e.g. logistics depots or processing facilities).
  • You will oversee delivery of services (e.g. including but not limited to multiple Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRCs), RTSs and logistics operations) to the contract specification, management of the associated contract payment mechanism and identifying / delivering opportunities to negotiating improvements to contractual terms / profitability.
  • You’ll be instrumental in delivering the Regional Business Growth Strategy through ongoing continual improvement activities leading to optimised operational and commercial performance; including the creation of new service opportunities and the commercial integration with other SUEZ assets within the region (e.g. logistics depots, processing or production facilities).
  • If you have demonstrable senior management experience - preferably from within the waste industry - coupled with proven experience of building, developing and managing successful teams and engaging the workforce to deliver against financial targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s), please apply or get in touch for more details

What are the requirements?

  • You should be able to demonstrate proven managerial and leadership experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience of building, developing and managing a successful team and engaging the workforce.
  • Health and Safety qualification(s), National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) essential.
  • A track record of delivering against financial targets and KPIs. Experience of financial planning budgeting and capital improvement is essential.
  • Experience of leading business decisions in a complex multi-disciplinary operational environment.
  • Understand the need to operate in a compliant manner.
  • An important feature of the Processing Contract Manager is that your background knowledge and experience will be deployed at all times, in order to determine the best course of action and ensure the company Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ), financial and customer service objectives are met.
