Summary of vacancy

Are you a multi skilled technician, with strong experience of both mechanical and electrical maintenance? Has this been gained working in a process engineering industry?

With innovation and new technology, we can create a greener future. But we can’t do it alone – which is why we need your help. Be part of a team that’s building new solutions for our planet.

A days based lead technician opportunity, with continuous training and development, working with a company whose vision is a society where there is no more waste.

About the role

What will I be doing?

You’ll be an important part of our team, making sure our plant is fully operational at all times. Day-to-day, you’ll plan and carry out a range of maintenance activities, making sure safety, health and environmental standards are observed at all times. A cost-effective approach is important too, but best practice is crucial. Using your knowledge, you’ll train the other members of the team to perform at their best and provide specialist advice whenever required.

What are the requirements?

This is a role for a confident, well experienced professional who has worked in a similar process industry before. You’ll have an HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering (or equivalent experience) and good working knowledge of environmental legislation. A Health & Safety qualification (IOSH, NEBOSH) would be great but can be gained with training provided. We’re more interested in your ability to advise others, explain technical matters clearly and work as part of a team.
