As a Team Leader at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

About the role

  • This position is a full time permanent position - working on a four week rotating shift pattern working 47.5 hours per week.
  • Starting pay is £10.38 per hour + 10% Shift Allowance

What will I be doing?

  • Follow and delegate instructions from the Line Manager.
  • Engage with the team and continue to maintain and improve the positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Be willing to host team meetings on a daily basis.
  • Actively seek continuous improvement.
  • Operate and maintain mobile and fixed plant.
  • Carry out site administration work.
  • Be computer literature.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Co-operate with other employees in order to comply with site permit, all applicable legislation and SUEZ Policies’ and Procedures.
  • In line with our Value and Ethics Charter, you will be expected to act in an honest, responsible and respectful manners to others – being responsible for your own professional conduct.

What are the requirements?

  • Certificate of Technical Competence (COTC) is desired.
  • Weighbridge, I.T skills and a mobile plant certification would be ideal, but not essential as all training will be provided.
  • We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated leader who works well with a team that strives to exceed expectation and deadlines with a flexible approach.
