As a Plant Operator at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources and reduce landfill.

About the role

About the role

  • This position is a PERMANENT / FULL TIME POSITION
  • The working hours are MONDAY – FRIDAY (08:00 - 16:30)
  • The pay rate for this role is £9.54 per hour, 40 hours per week, with overtime available

What will I be doing as a Plant Operator?

  • Operating Fixed/Mobile plant
  • Maintaining a clear floor space of the RDF.
  • Loading of material to feed Production line.
  • Loading material onto vehicles for transportation to final destination.
  • To deliver outstanding front line customer service.
  • To work as part of a team to maintain an efficient and cost effective operation.
  • Ensuring that SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees.
  • Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job role.

What are the requirements?

  • The applicant must be self-motivated and have good communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover for holidays and sick days if required.
  • Experience with mobile/Fixed plant is essential.
