About the role

What will I be doing as a Senior Traffic Controller?

To support the transport manager with providing driver cover, reporting and ensuring all compliance and legislative requirements are satisfied.

  • Provide out of hours cover on a rota basis
  • Nominated person on SUEZ’s operator licence
  • Provide day to day supervision of traffic controllers
  • Maintenance of driver and planner personnel records
  • Management of the tachograph system and logging of all accidents
  • Ensuring appropriate checks are carried out to keep the fleet roadworthy
  • Scheduling maintenance to vehicles and containers including defect reporting
  • Actively involved in the H&S meetings, making changes to the H&S culture to always making sure H&S is first and foremost.

What are the requirements (knowledge and experience)?

With supervisroy expereience and a relevant background in transport management / traffic control, you will need to be a CPC holder, or training towards the CPC qualification.
