Are you a Technical Sales Manager, with a background selling water treatment services in to large industry including oil & gas, chemical and power?  Would you like to join our services department in the UK/Ireland, assuming a lead role and responsible for driving outsourced water solutions sales for short, mid & long-term contracts?

About the role

What will I be doing?

Reporting to the Regional Sales Leader you will work in an international and highly stimulating environment, with frequent contact with colleagues, both in the region and overseas. You’ll work closely with a diverse functional team, developing opportunities in the UK and Ireland region, by solving critical issues the industries are facing around water treatment.

You will require high levels of motivation, persistence and the drive to achieve objectives, providing accurate sales forecasts and achieving targets, consistently through the year;

  • Act as an expert (technical and commercial) in the market for growing the SUEZ Brand as a Mobile temporary water solution provider & outsourced solutions
  • Develop and execute growth strategies and action plans to maintain the network of Water users, in line with the company capabilities and expectations;
  • Actively educate end-users throughout the region of the benefits of implementing an Emergency Water Plan.
  • Understand customer’s needs, qualify leads, and work closely with the Sales Supporting functions to provide competitive solutions for our customers and drive the sales cycle;
  • Identify market trends and changes in the local legislation that trigger the use of the company’s solution portfolio
  • Adhering to all internal procedures and tools related to risk review stages and bid preparation, forecasting;
  • Work closely with other Sales Managers in the region to create synergies and to ensure a seamless execution of the region growth strategies
  • Assisting Project Managers and Project Engineers in the preparation of biding/execution hand-over procedures.

What will I need?

You’ll need proven technical expertise and sales experience in water treatment, ideally within service offering, in large industries such as power, refineries, petrochemical and chemical. Additionally, you’ll have a keen commercial mindset with the ability to understand and delivering clients’ needs, coupled with results-oriented approach, driven by an unwavering passion to hit sales targets year on year.

  • Proven knowledge of selling temporary solution (containerized unit as ion exchange, reverse osmosis, ultra-filtration etc.) with an additional water treatment services a plus
  • Thorough and current understanding of the water market dynamics, with an extended network of contacts in industrial sites, water Companies, contractors etc.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience; Masters or PhD degree or equivalent is a plus
