Severnside Energy Recovery Centre has a long term 25 year contract, we have a great opportunity for someone to start a career in the waste industry, we are currently looking for a receptionist to report to the Administration Manager at this, one of the leading Energy from Waste facilities in the SUEZ portfolio.  We have a professional team who will help to develop the individual in their career aspirations.


About the role

What will I be doing?

The roles will include greeting all visitors both internal and external and maintain health, safety and welfare by following procedures for signing everyone in & out,  general admin work to include filing, scanning & copying, to be the first point of contact for information on site, handling incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person / department & to be responsible for taking the signing in/out register to the fire assembly point in the event of an alarm activation.

What are the requirements?

Applicants must be able to demonstrate good communication skills. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate must have basic IT skills with experience in Microsoft software and a GCSE qualification.

Experience of working within administration is desirable.
