This is a 45 hour week, Monday to Friday.

About the role

What will I be doing?

This role will predominantly support the Quality Management System, with you at the start of the process and the first to review the all waste material entering site, identifying target and non target material, playing a critical role to how the material is processed, the quality of the product being produced and how we manage our customers along the journey.

  • Collecting quality samples from incoming material and from processed material to assess composition
  • Following sampling, recording levels of target material and reporting back non conformance
  • Enter all sampling results into spreadsheets
  • General housekeeping and any other reasonable requests from site management

What are the requirements?

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player, to join the existing team and help ensure site operations exceend required standards. A flexible approach will be needed, including providing holiday and sickness cover, along with:

  • A methodical approach, ideally with some QA expereince but full training will be given
  • Good safety awareness, with a desire to embrace and develop continuous inprovement
  • Previous high volume production process expereince, ideally some in the waste industry
  • Good IT literacy and any lean or 5S a bonus
