As a Marketing Manager at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you’ll be contributing to an ever-growing established company that’s helping customers reduce their impact on the environment and conserve natural resources.

In this role you will be responsible for SUEZ’s industrial and commercial (I&C) long-term marketing plans in line with regional sales and retention strategies as well as company’s medium terms plans. You will contribute to achieving SUEZ’s targets, by executing acquisition and retention marketing plans, developing regional marketing strategies and ensuring a ROI from all I&C marketing activities. You will be responsible for creating, owning, delivering and measuring marketing success to drive forward sales and customer retention in this key area for the company.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Working closely with SUEZ’s four Regional Directors, Regional Business Managers, Regional Sales Managers and their teams in Regional Customer Hubs developing regional sales and retention strategies and marketing plans.
  • Working with other senior internal stakeholders to ensure complete engagement in multiple projects running concurrently.
  • Analysing business information, economic trends and market feedback from internal and external sources to identify key issues, opportunities and market share growth/decline for use in marketing planning purposes.
  • Delivering marketing ROI against a fixed annual budget. You will play a crucial role in the delivery of new business sales and the improvements in the retention of UK business customers.
  • Working across a range of marketing channels including, but not limited to inbound and outbound marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, paid search advertising, social media marketing, affiliate marketing and direct marketing.
  • Developing end-to-end marketing plans, to include delivery, quality control and evaluation of marketing campaigns within agreed budget and timescales.
  • Work with the internal brand and design team and external marketing agencies on campaign creations and measurement.
  • Constantly striving to deliver best ROI and ROO, by monitoring and analysing multi-channel data focusing not only at MQL, but also SQL.
  • You will manage a small team of marketing professionals.

What are the Requirements?

To be successful in this role you need be a seasoned B2B marketer, preferably experienced in utility or service industry. You must have a positive mindset with a ‘can do’ attitude and be pragmatic, robust and resilient. The role requires cross functional management expertise to ensure campaign delivery across a wide range of customer segments on budget and to the highest possible standard constantly focusing on CRO and quality of MQLs.

A successful applicant will have experience of:

  • Developing and managing digital customer acquisition and retention campaigns across paid and owned digital channels as well as off-line marketing channels.
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Navigating complex matrix business with multi-channel environment – regional customer hubs with telesales call centre and field sales.
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Identifying, testing and implementing new and innovative ways of marketing and selling, while meeting targets and carrying out business as usual activities without interruptions.
  • Analysing and reporting on multiple campaigns results.
