We are a multi national energy, Recycling and waste management company and we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Regional Sales Director covering the Central area to take ownership of shaping and delivering a growth plan to achieve year-on-year success withinin our customer facing I&C division.

About the role

What will I be doing?

You will utilise your experience, within industry, to maximise all current streams within the business and develop a growth plan to achieve the goals set by the board. You will have the ability to create, develop and deploy the sales strategy, identifying areas of strength and any potential opportunities to further exploit.

You will ensure the maximum and appropriate activity of the sales team, monitoring delivery and development of the sales strategy, while taking a pro-active ownership of the sales teams performance, including challenging the status quo, to deliver exceptional results. The role will require knowledge, exceptional man management experience and you’ll be a truly accomplished sales individual who can meet challenging targets and lead by example.

What are the requirements?

This is an excellent opening for a talented, driven, commercially focused Sales Director with a proven background within the waste Industry, or high-volume  B2B service industries. Delivering to the Regional Director,  this is no role for a beginner, you will have a depth of knowledge that you are keen to share with your direct reports to ensure that they grow the business under your direction. You will be a leader who recognises the key balance between commercial excellence, customer delivery, and team leadership. You should have a proven background in delivering change and be capable of managing the sales team from Business Development Managers to sales professionals in the field and those office based.
