About the role

What will I be doing as a Maintenance Manager?

A key member of our Materials Recovery team, reporting to the Plant Manager you will be responsible for the on site maintenance team. It means organising planned preventative maintenance, managing resources and external contractors, budget responsibility and utilising a maintenance management system to make sure there is always a sufficient stock of spares. We’ll expect you to lead your maintenance team and ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety regulations including the completion of RA and SWPS.

What are the requirements? (Experience and qualifications)

We’re looking for managerial experience and a background in recycling, chemical or heavy engineering. It would be advantageous if you hold a degree or HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and ideally an H&S qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH). With these credentials plus your leadership skills, you’ll help keep our materials recovery technology running smoothly.
