About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Define and own strategy and growth plan for the European region 
  • Understand customer needs, market trends, competition, etc
  • Consider short term/ current fleet and define target application, industry, partnership, pricing accordingly
  • Consider midterm needs to support plan for fleet evolution (new assets, new features, refurbishments) 
  • Feed / Reports / Develop this E/B strategy with the relevant stakeholders across the organization
  • Liais with EMEA Industry Vertical Leaders (Growth team) to add the E/B value proposition to the broader ES/CMS commercial strategy
  • Liaise with Global Services business (Global Services Product Managers) to drive investment decision making and support innovative initiatives.
  • In collaboration with marketing & sales, support the development of new marketing tools to promote mobile solutions
  • Coach the Direct sales team to develop new E/B opportunities in their respective countries and champion the CMS Mobile program to ensure quality of leads and delivery of offer
  • Responsible for managing the EU Regional Commercial Engineering team to execute the ITO process from lead qualification to contract signature and handing off a complete turnover package for execution. 
  • Executing growth strategies in collaboration with the Sales Leadership team
  • Assist/Lead client negotiations to close orders.
  • Effective organizational and team building skills to drive projects to successful closure by working with Sales, Operations and the necessary support functions.
  • Managing the development of Individual CE team members through training, coaching and mentoring.
  • Assess performance of the CE team and provide feedback to ensure Priorities are met.
  • Execute the Delegation of Authority (DoA), and be held accountable to get the required approvals for any conditions that fall outside the Regional DoA, while ensuring all WTS Risk Policies are followed
  • Ensure compliance with the WTS QMS Procedures for Commercial Engineering and development of a strong Health & Safety compliant mindset in all CE activities.
  • Leading with unyielding integrity and quality.

What are the requirements?

  • Degree in a Science or Engineering and/or relevant work experience in industry, preferably connected to chemistry or water.
  • Demonstrated leadership style showing capabilities to accelerate change, work in a rapidly changing environment and operate independently to deliver business results.Terms and Conditions negotiating experience
  • Clear and concise communicator
  • Financial acumen - Thorough understanding of project life cycle costs and project financing
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office software
  • People management and project management skills
  • Understanding of WTS current portfolio and risk policies
  • Strong culture around Ethics & Compliance

Desired characteristics : 

  • Experience in commercial and engineering roles in the water business, with preference to outsourcing/renting type of solutions.
  • Previous experience in coaching role
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Blackbelt or Master Blackbelt Certified
  • Knowledge of our equipment, technology, competitors and markets for each of our product lines.
  • MBA
