About the role

This is a part time permanent role working Saturday & Sunday 08:00am to 17:15pm at a pay rate of £12.41 per hour for Saturday working and £14.90 per hour for Sunday working. Any additional hours over Monday to Friday are at a basic pay rate of £9.93 per hour. 

What will I be doing as Driver?

The role will involve the driving and operation of Roll-on-roll-off hook vehicles collecting and emptying containers from household waste recycling centres,  delivering a high standard of service and ensuring compliance with our customer’s Health and Safety rules as well as our own at all times.

What are the requirements?

You must be able to demonstrate a passion for professional driving coupled with good communication skills and a willingness to be part of a successful hardworking team, delivering a high level of customer service.

The role also requires:

  • An LGV Class 2 license as well as a CPC card are essential.
  • Experience of working in the waste industry is desirable though not essential.
  • Experience of working with recycling vehicles, roll on roll off containers, is preferred.
