About the role

What will I be doing?

  • We'll look to you to provide comprehensive administrative support for the smooth running of  this multi-site logistics operation for the residents of Somerset
  • You'll be providing back office support, through a variety of administrative tasks across , for the contract.   In particular though, you will be supporting our Core system through updating records, downloading crew completion information and identifying missed collections, access issues and reported problems.  
  • There will be other administrative tasks which will need to be completed ranging from Payroll & Overtime submissions and approvals through to the collation of performance data.
  • Scheduling and allocation of work to our collection crews
  • Allocation of tasks and events to the supervisory team
  • Monitoring of the collection operations software to ensure data accuracy at all times
  • Producing reports to enable the management team to effectively drive performance


What are the requirements?

 

  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong administration skills, including writing coherent reports,
  • IT proficiency, including MS Office suite and the ability to learn other software packages 
  • Numerate and comfortable working with figures, including data manipulation and interrogation
  • Great communication skills, both oral and written
  • A team player, approachable and good with people
