About the role

What will I be doing as a Blended Learning & Development Officer? (Digital)

  • Create and deliver appropriate digital and blended learning solutions to the business, in line with business priorities.
  • E-learning modules to targeted and global audiences as appropriate.
  • Occupational competence in coding, web and mobile app development, networks and web design.
  • Virtual Classroom training to individuals and groups as appropriate.
  • Off-Job/classroom training to groups of learners as appropriate.
  • Update and maintain relevant personnel/LMS learning records (attendance, achievement, etc.)
  • Work with key business stakeholders to identify bespoke digital learning needs.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team, as appropriate, to create, publish, update, and maintain digital learning content.
  • Where 'internal' third party or a joint approach to content creation is required, provide appropriate guidance and advice to in-house parties on the production format and processes for creating new digital material.
  • Where necessary, work with external providers to ensure content production is accurate, up to date and on time.
  •  Where business priorities change, demonstrate flexibility to change focus and provide relevant support when needed.
  • Carry out appropriate analysis and evaluation of digital learning interventions to inform continuous improvement of our offer.
  • Continuously develop own knowledge and skills to be able to maximise the production, delivery and effectiveness of digital learning interventions within the business.

What are the requirements/qualifications?

  • Recognised training qualification. (Desirable)
  • Proven capability to implement the full training cycle within a nationwide, multi-site business. (Required)
  • Experienced in designing, writing, producing and delivering e-learning content, programmes and materials. (Desirable)
  • Experience of face to face delivery in behavioural learning (Required)
  • Experience and a working knowledge of project management processes.( Desirable)
  • Demonstrable creativity and flair in designing digital learning solutions.  (Desirable)
  • Experienced in delivering Management Information Systems training in a classroom or virtual classroom environment to groups. (Required)
  • Ability to communicate, influence and engage support at all levels within the business. (Desirable)
  • Robust knowledge of human learning patterns, processes and cycles.
  • Self-driven and able to work in a team or autonomously. (Required)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Required)
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel.  (Required)
  • Proficient with using Articulate 360 Camtasia authoring tools.(Required)
