About the role

About the role

Product support by supporting field service troubleshooting, providing escalation management and customer support, delivering technical training to field associates, and supporting product life cycle management for existing products. This role can be home based with 50% travel around the UK.

What will I be doing?

Essential functions:

  • On-site repairs and application troubleshooting,
  • Create content to capture advanced troubleshooting and applications knowledge,
  • Train field service engineers, service specialists, and third parties,
  • Coordinate, facilitate, and deliver cross-functional service meetings,
  • Train, support, coach, and mentor associate team members.                                                                                            

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide troubleshooting support to field service associates during on-site customer visits,
  • Lead technical and product line escalations of product related technical system issues,
  • Develop expert level knowledge of existing systems from hardware perspective and acquire applications knowledge to aid in problem diagnosis,
  • Recommendations to development projects as a customer and service advocate,
  • Recommendations to design and test methods for verification of all service procedures and Ensuring all safety, quality and regulatory requirements follow standards and agencies such as: ISO, GMP and FDA.

What are the requirements?

  • Bachelor's Degree Engineering or Science related program
  • at least 5 years work experience with analytical instruments
