Summary of vacancy

Do you have experience of maintenance within a process, production or heavy engineering industry? Do you have knowledge of setting up and optimising computerised maintenance systems (CMS)?

The role will involve travel throughout the UK to various SUEZ sites. You'll be required to stay away over night every couple of weeks.

About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Travel to SUEZ recycling / processing sites to assess the equipment currently in use and to develop planned preventative maintenance routines for that equipment.
  • Setting up and maintaining the CMS system at the various sites.
  • Seeking and developing standards in line with IEC 62443 for accreditation and auditing

  • Setting up policy, procedures, risk assessments QA & QC in line with IEC 62443 and ensuring sites across processing and energy comply to this.

  • Ensuring the site based personnel are trained in the use of the CMS system.
  • Ensuring the sites comply with the policies and procedures regarding the CMS system.
  • Developing and enhancing the CMS system as part of an overall asset management policy.
  • Working with the team to deliver an asset management framework for SUEZ.

What are the requirements?

  • Degree qualified, you will require a strong background of working within a process environment and be able to assess equipment at multiple site, understand specific requirements and needs.
  • Degree or higher level equivalent in computer / system engineering, science or related subject with a module or focus towards Cyber Security

  • This will then involve developing and running planned preventative maintenance routines and schedules, setting up and running CMS systems and then ensuring personnel are trained to use the system, at sites throughout the UK.
  • Experience of project management will be an advantage as the role will involve working at different facilities, throughout the UK, supporting various engineering projects.  
  • As an engineer with SUEZ you will be encouraged to advance to Chartered Engineer or working towards it already.
