About the role

What will I be doing?

  • Assembly and test of Aftermarket products.
  • Picking of components.
  • Ensure Company's Health & Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality Strategies, Policies and Objectives are adhered to and report any deficiencies to your Line Manager.
  • Picking of components.
  • Assembly, labeling, testing and packing of consumable products.
  • Emptying, filling, testing and packing cylinders.
  • Highlighting stock variances.
  • Maintaining good communication in a co-operative and professional manner at all levels and with all departments within the company.
  • Flexibility needed in working hours which is essential to meet customer needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Understanding of the quality procedures relating to the position, including following all work procedures and work instructions.
  • Striving to improve quality and performance.
  • Keeping the work area clean and tidy (in line with 5S principles).
  • Other tasks as requested by Line Manager.

What are the requirements?

  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic outlook and desire to learn.
  • Physically fit (due to lifting and movement of products).

Desirable skills or experience

  • Experience of working in a production/logistics environment.
  • Knowledge, or an interest in, mechanical assembly.
  • Fork lift truck experience.
