About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our equipment service team starting in the membrane team. The role involves working with our wide range of water treatment equipment to guarantee the best quality for our customers. The role offers a great opportunity to work with a global leader in water treatment & provides opportunities to progress within the company.  We will support you to develop your current skills and gain all the new skills to be successful within the water treatment industry.

What will I be doing?

  • Ensuring the quality (QC/FAT) of different type of water treatment equipment (IX, Filter,  RO, EDI and ED). This can include mechanical and electrical jobs.
  • Troubleshooting of electrical and control systems in our fleet equipment
  • Make maximum effort to keep and improve defined equipment turning cycle time and ensure rework is processed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure that any documents are read, understood and followed precisely.  Additionally, it is necessary to fill in production and quality control paperwork on a daily basis and to ensure all computer related tasks are completed.
  • Teaching/coaching other operators about the equipment and procedures.
  • Ensure all duties are performed in a safe manner within the site rules & current health and safety legislation.
  • Make maximum effort to execute all tasks which are assigned by the manager/ shift leader

What are the requirements?

  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office packages
  • Previously worked in Industrial area, assembly or other operational role
  • Proven record of EHS and Quality awareness
  • Experience in the Water treatment industry is an advantage
  • Good people skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced & changing environment
  • Able to process assigned tasks in a time effective manner
  • Able to analyse and resolve issues (electrical and mechanical)
  • Able to assist or execute FAT test on new build equipment
  • Able to operate different type of PLCs 
  • Ability to carry out maintenance tasks on equipment
  • Required to participate in LEAN, KAIZEN, 5S and execute tasks
  • Good numeracy & IT skills
  • Able to perform in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to follow detailed instruction
  • Willingness to learn new skills & take on additional responsibility
